I pretty much post about working out on my triathlon blog, but I am pretty proud of my progress in just a few weeks. So I am going to share my thoughts here also. :)
I have been really dedicated and kept to my workout. I have been working out/exercising for about one month now, but I found a day by day workout plan about a week ago and followed it last week. I am excited how much easier it has been than I anticipated. Tonight I am pretty exhausted, but it feels soooo wonderful! I went down to our community gym and walked on the treadmill at a pace of 3.8-4.0 mph for 20 minutes. (then I cool down) then I change and swam freestyle (front crawl) for 100 yds. (then I cool down 50 yds). Tonight I added some wieghts to gain some muscle tone and strength in my shoulders and arms. So needless to say they are jello-ee.
I am also very excited because Bryan said he would start working out with me hooray~ that will benefit both of us :) Bryan has to start getting up earlier to get prepared to start getting up early for his job. Anyway, just thought I would share.

Good for you, Jamie! I am so proud of you for this current goal, I don't think I would have the courage to try a Triathalon. Keep up the great work!
I am glad your face hasn't suffered from the effects of prednisone, have you looked at my face lately, ugh, I have a double chin!!!
You have some awesome goals for the year, I will pray that you accomplish EVERY ONE!
