Today I made a lot of progress. They OK'd me for liquids (finally) They also capped off my trake so I was able to shower! I am only on 2 lpm of oxygen which is pretty good.....my sats are stable at 99%-100% I don't ever remember having that good of oxygen sats. My chest still feels very tight and swolen, but it gets a little better every day. They also removed the feeding tube! That feels good, however now I have to try to take in more calories, it's hard to eat though foseveral reasons: Meds leave a nasty taste in my mouth, I have to relearn how to swallow, and my stomach is shrunk down. Like everything else it will improve! I am very optimistic today-hopfully I see improvement every day. I am wearing a robe my aunt sent to me...it's soft and it is sooooo much better than gowns. Well time for a treatment so I will post again tomorrow night.
