I have done a few things I wanted since my lung transplant. . .I got back on stage, been in a commercial & was in a Movie (sorta). I have also started other goals, talked about some more and never really accomplished them. So what goals am I talking about? Mostly exercise related. I have wanted to run a 5K, compete in a sprint triathlon and compete in the transplant games (which unfortunately have been canceled). I have not actually done any of those goals :) I however DO know someone who has set some pretty cool goals and is on her way to completing them.
Most of my readers have read my posts about Supernina. . . she has already completed at least one 5K (I think more than one), and just finished a 50 mile Road Bike race. She is working towards competing in another Bike race for the American Lung Association. She will need to raise a $750 entry fee. I am really proud of her, she's freaking amazing! This race is also going to mark and celebrate her 1 year post transplant anniversary. I will post her progress and information if anyone wants to donate & help her raise her entry fee money. GO SUPERNINA!!
